Education Advocacy Services

MLM Advocacy understands that this is a journey that often begins with stressful and anxiety filled parameters. With expertise, compassion, and knowledge of Educational Law, I will help students and their families navigate through the entire process. As a bilingual social worker, I believe in collaboration with parents, educators, social service agencies and other outside providers to help develop a framework towards a master plan that will help your child feel successful.

Consultation

My relationship with the student and their family begins with a consultation where all records are thoroughly reviewed. I want to learn all about the student to be able to gain a better understanding of what academic or social/emotional disabilities may be impacting your child in school.

Holding Your Hand

After reviewing the documents, together, as a team, we will develop a master plan of how to best work with the school district, your student, any outside providers to be able to come to a solution that can best meet the needs of the student.

Building a Foundation

As we build relationships and create a team, your student will learn how to advocate for themselves and to take charge of the challenges that they may face.
